Cache Media was established in 2002. The office, test lab and warehouse is located in Newbury, Berkshire. From the outset, Cache Media worked with Doremilabs on their Pro-AV and Broadcast products and was instrumental in the development of the Digital Cinema market in the UK and Ireland. Cache Media and Doremi continue to enjoy a strong position in the high end Presentation market and this continues with the 3D product ranges.

Marshall LCD monitors were added to the portfolio shortly afterwards. At the time, Marshall were not well known in the UK but today, Marshall monitors enjoy a good market share in the UK and Ireland. They are a very popular choice for Outside Broadcast on account of their performance, weight and cost effectiveness. The same for the rental market as they are proven to be robust and easy to rig. They are also popular in the Studio market as they have integral IMD-In Monitor Display that negates the need for a separate UMD box. The Field Monitors are a number one choice for DSLR's and other applications as well as field monitoring requiring 3G inputs.

360 Systems are the transmission products in the range for both server applications and Time Delay. They are cost effective, highly reliable and in use with many of the leading Broadcasters such as BBC, ITV, Arqiva, Globecast, Redbee, MTV. There are also audio products from 360 Systems such as the Instant Replay 2, Short Cut and Digicart. All provide instant access to audio clips and are extremely easy to use.

Other Product ranges from other manufacturers will be added but they have to fall into the same high quality/good value for money category that Cache Media looks for, so that the customers of Cache Media can enjoy good returns on their investments.

All of the products sold by Cache Media go through a strict regime of quality control to UK/continental European standards prior to delivery. Providing good support and aftercare is at the core of the Cache Media values. Cache Media works very closely with the manufacturers to ensure that the products sold are fully developed to meet local requirements.
